『Ayatori: Threads Between Us』を観に来ました。日本から来た菊地さんと、バンコクで出演するKwinさんによる作品です。

とても美しい舞台でした。今のような暗い時期だからこそ、人と人とのつながりを感じ、記憶や、人間として生きていくうえで大切な価値を改めて心に留めることのできる作品だと思います。

I came to see Ayatori: Threads Between Us, a performance by Kikuchi, who came from Japan, and Kwin, who joined the production in Bangkok.

 

It was a truly beautiful performance. Especially in difficult times like these, I feel this is a piece that reminds us of the connections between people, our memories, and the values that truly matter to us as human beings.

赤い糸が、出演者と観客をつなぎ、私たちを物語の中へと連れていきます。

そこにあるのは、人とのつながり、絆、そして人生の中で出会う人々やさまざまなもの。

コンパクトにまとまった、とても心に残る作品です。

日本人とタイ人の俳優によって上演されます。

字幕はありません。

でも、きっとこの物語は「心」で理解できると思います。

A Sunday afternoon with a beautiful and simple performance.

A red thread connects the performers and the audience, taking us on a journey through stories, relationships, people, and the many things that are part of our lives.

There’s one final performance this evening. If you’re free, I’d really recommend coming to see it.

It’s a concise yet deeply touching performance, brought to life by Japanese and Thai performers. Even without subtitles, I’m sure you’ll be able to understand this story with your heart.

日本からやってきた舞台作品。

アーティスト、菊地もなみ（Monami Kikuchi）によって創作されました。

ムーブメント、詩、音、そしてその瞬間に生まれるさまざまな表現を通して、日々の暮らしの中にひっそりと隠れている「大切なもの」を探す旅へと誘います。

……もしかすると、この作品を観ることで、何かを感じ、ふと立ち止まって考えたり、愛について改めて気づいたりするかもしれません。

そして、自分のそばにいる誰かや、身近にある何かを、これまでより少し大切に感じるようになるかもしれません……。

公演終了後には、アーティストが観客の皆さんのために、日本の飲み物とお菓子を用意してくれました。

日本文化では、こうした心遣いを「おもてなし（おもてなし）」と呼びます。訪れた人を心を込めて迎え、大切にするという意味があります。

帰宅する前に、飲み物やお菓子を囲みながら、リラックスした雰囲気の中でみんなでおしゃべりする時間もありました。温かくて素敵な時間でした ☕

ร่วมเดินทางค้นหาสิ่งสำคัญเล็ก ๆ ในชีวิตประจำวันที่ซ่อนอยู่ภายใน ผ่านการเคลื่อนไหว บทกวี เสียง และการแสดงออกหลากหลายรูปแบบที่เกิดขึ้น ณ ขณะนั้น

 

...บางทีละครเรื่องนี้อาจจะทำให้คุณรู้สึก ฉุกคิด ตระหนักถึงความรักและเห็นคุณค่าของใครบางคน หรือบางสิ่งที่อยู่รอบตัวคุณมากขึ้นกว่าเดิมก็ได้...

 

หลังการแสดงจบ ศิลปินได้เตรียมเครื่องดื่มและขนมญี่ปุ่นไว้ให้ทุกท่านด้วย ซึ่งในวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่น สิ่งนี้เรียกว่า “โอโมเตนาชิ” (おもてなし) หมายถึง การต้อนรับและดูแลแขกด้วยความใส่ใจ แวะพูดคุยในบรรยากาศสบาย ๆ ร่วมกัน ก่อนเดินทางกลับบ้าน อบอุ่นดี ☕

A theatre performance from Japan, created by artist Monami Kikuchi (菊地もなみ).

 

The performance takes us on a journey to discover the small yet important things hidden within our everyday lives, through movement, poetry, sound, and various forms of expression that unfold in the moment.

 

...Perhaps this performance might make you feel something, pause and reflect, become more aware of love, and appreciate someone or something around you more than you did before...

 

After the performance, the artist had prepared Japanese drinks and sweets for everyone. In Japanese culture, this is called “Omotenashi” (おもてなし), which means welcoming and taking care of guests with thoughtfulness and attention.

 

We stayed for a while, chatting together in a relaxed atmosphere before heading home.

 

It felt so warm and welcoming. ☕

ゲネプロに招待してもらい、観に行ってきました。

日本語のタイトルは「Ayatori（あやとり）」。

糸を絡ませる、という意味です。

指に糸をかけて、相手と交互に糸を取りながら、形を次々と変えていく遊びです。やったことのある人なら「ああ、あれね！」となるでしょう。

最初はムーブメントやダンスを中心とした作品だと思っていました。

ところが実際に観てみると、きちんと物語の流れがあり、シンプルな会話もあります。

特に印象的だったのは、美術的な構成です。

赤い糸やさまざまなオブジェを使って、物を配置しながら空間をつくっていく。そして、Lanna Aree Theatreの建築そのものも上手く作品に生かしています。

この作品が見つめているのは、「記憶」や「手放すこと」。

心を解きほぐし、過去を乗り越えて前へ進むこと。

あるいは、自分自身の心の奥深くへと入っていくこと。

瞑想的ではありますが、深いところへ無理やり沈ませるようなものではありません。

むしろ、自分自身の内側にあるものに、そっと、優しく気づかせてくれるような作品です。

最近では、こうした瞑想的な要素や、儀式的な要素を取り入れた作品づくりが、さまざまな分野で再び注目されるようになっています。

画面いっぱいにあふれるAIに少し疲れてしまった人にも、ぜひ時間をつくって観に行ってほしいです。

ชื่อญี่ปุ่นว่า อายาโตริ แปลว่า พันด้าย

เกมที่เราเอาด้ายมาพันนิ้วแบ้วผบัดกันดึงเล่นพลิกไปพลิกมาถ้าใครเคยเล่นจะร้อง อ๋อ 

 

ตอนแรกเข้าใจว่าเป็น movement กับ dance พอไปดูจริง กลับมีเส้นเรื่อง มีบทสนทนาแบบง่ายๆ 

ที่โดดเด่นคือ องค์ประกอบศิลป์  การจัดวางวัตถุแบะสร้างพื้นที่ ด้วยด้ายแดง และ objects  ใช้สถาปัตยกรรมของล้านนาอารีย์  ล้านนาอารีย์เธียเตอร์ ให้เป็นประโยชน์

 

การแสดงที่ สนใจเรื่องราวของความทรงจำ กับการปลดเปลื้อง ปลอบประโลมให้ก้าวผ่าน หรือ ค้นลึกลงไปในใจของตนเอง มีสมาธิแบบไม่กดดันให้ดิ่งจมลงไป แต่ปลูกให้รู้ตัวแบบเบาๆ อ่อนโยน 

 

ระยะหลังมานี้ การสร้างงานเชิงสมาธิและกึ่งพิธีกรรม แบบนี้กำลังกลับมาได้รับความสนใจในหลายแวดวง

I was invited to see the dress rehearsal.

 

The Japanese title is “Ayatori,” which refers to a traditional string game. You loop a string around your fingers and take turns transforming it into different shapes. If you’ve ever played it before, you’ll immediately go, “Ah, I know that!”

 

At first, I thought it was going to be a movement and dance performance. But when I actually saw it, I discovered that there was a narrative thread running through the piece, along with simple dialogue.

 

What particularly stood out was the visual composition: the arrangement of objects and the way the space was created using red thread and various objects. The performance also made effective use of the distinctive architecture of Lanna Aree Theatre.

 

The performance explores memory, release, and the process of finding comfort that allows us to move forward, or perhaps to look more deeply into our own hearts.

 

There is a meditative quality to the piece, but it never pressures us to sink too deeply into our emotions. Instead, it gently plants a sense of awareness within us, softly and tenderly.

 

Recently, this kind of meditative and semi-ritualistic approach to performance-making seems to be attracting renewed interest across various artistic fields.

お兄さん、お姉さん、みんな、都合がつくなら本当に観に行ってほしいです。

日本語とタイ語が混ざった舞台作品です。

日本語が聞き取れなくても心配しなくて大丈夫。絶対に理解できます。

でも、日本語が少しでも分かると、さらにめちゃくちゃ入り込めます！

リスニングが得意な人なら、没入感100倍です！

残り4公演あるので、ぜひ観に行ってみてください。

チケットも高くないし、中学生・高校生／大学生向けの学生料金もあります。

アフタートークでは、日本語の力をめちゃくちゃ使いました。

「もっと日本語が上手くなりたい！」ってすごく思った。

This was SOOO good!!! Seriously, if any of you are free, I really want you to go see it!

 

I’ve already seen it, and it’s a theatre performance in a mix of Japanese and Thai. If you don’t understand Japanese, don’t worry. You’ll definitely still be able to follow it! But if you understand even a little Japanese, you’ll get so much more immersed in it. And if your Japanese listening skills are good, the experience is like ×100!

 

There are only 4 performances left, and the tickets aren’t expensive. They also have special prices for school and university students.

 

I got to use my Japanese a lot during the after-talk too, which was so much fun. It made me want to get even better at Japanese so I can have even more conversations like this!

ในการแสดงมีการใช้ทั้งภาษาญี่ปุ่นและภาษาไทย แต่สิ่งต่าง ๆ ไม่ได้ถูกถ่ายทอดผ่านคำพูดเพียงอย่างเดียว ทั้งการเคลื่อนไหว เสียง และสีหน้าท่าทางต่างก็สื่อสารอะไรหลาย ๆ อย่างออกมา ทำให้เป็นการแสดงที่น่าประทับใจและยังคงอยู่ในความทรงจำ

It was such a beautiful performance, and it gave me an opportunity to reflect once again on the everyday moments we often take for granted, as well as the connections we have with the people close to us.

The performance used both Japanese and Thai, but so much was communicated beyond words, through movement, sound, facial expressions, and more. It left a very strong and lasting impression on me.
